1. Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P. (TNH) is a limited partnership that produces and distributes

nitrogen fertilizer products. Its principal products are anhydrous ammonia (or ammonia) and urea

ammonium nitrate solutions (UAN), which the Company manufactures at its facility in Verdigris,

Oklahoma. The Company conducts its operations through an operating partnership, Terra

Nitrogen, Limited Partnership (TNLP or the Operating Partnership). Terra Nitrogen GP Inc.

(TNGP or General Partner) is the general partner of both TNCLP and TNLP and owns a

consolidated 0.05% interest in the Partnership. The General Partner is an indirect, wholly owned

subsidiary of Terra Industries Inc. (Terra). Terra is a producer and marketer of nitrogen products,

serving agricultural and industrial markets.



2. Nucor Corporation (NUE) is engaged in the manufacture and sale of steel and steel products.

The Company operates in two business segments: steel mills and steel products. Principal

products from the steel mills segment include hot-rolled steel and cold-rolled steel. Steel mills

segment’s hot-rolled steel products include angles, rounds, flats, channels, sheet, wide-flange

beams, pilings, billets, blooms, beam blanks and plate. Principal products from the steel products

segment include steel joists and joist girders, steel deck, cold finished steel, steel fasteners, metal

building systems and light gauge steel framing. In March 2008, Nucor Corporation completed the

acquisition of SHV North America Corporation, which owns 100% of The David J. Joseph

Company (DJJ) and related affiliates. In April 2008, Nucor Corporation completed the acquisition

of substantially all the assets of Metal Recycling Services Inc. MRS will operate under the name,

Metal Recycling Services, LLC.



3. Eni S.p.A. (E) is an integrated energy company. The Company’s activities include finding,

producing, transporting, transforming and marketing oil and gas. During the year ended

December 31, 2007, the Company’s oil and natural gas production averaged 1.736 million barrels

of equivalent per day (mmboe/d). During 2007, estimated net proved reserves amounted to 6.37

billion barrels of equivalent (bboe). The Company operates through three divisions: Exploration &

Production Division, Gas & Power Division and Refining & Marketing Division. In November

2008, Eni announced that it has completed the acquisition of First Calgary Petroleums Ltd.



4. TOTAL S.A. (TOT), together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is an integrated international oil

and gas company. With operations in more than 130 countries, TOTAL engages in all aspects of

the petroleum industry, including Upstream operations (oil and gas exploration, development and

production, liquefied natural gas (LNG)) and Downstream operations (refining, marketing and the

trading and shipping of crude oil and petroleum products). The Company also produces base

chemicals (petrochemicals and fertilizers) and specialty chemicals for the industrial and consumer

markets. In addition, TOTAL has interests in the coal mining and power generation sectors, as well as a financial interest in Sanofi-Aventis. TOTAL’s worldwide operations are conducted

through three business segments: Upstream, Downstream and Chemicals. In August 2008, Total

E&P Canada Ltd. (Total Canada), a wholly owned subsidiary of TOTAL, had taken up

approximately 94% interest in Synenco Energy Inc.



5. Sasol Level II ADR Limited (SSL) Sasol Limited (Sasol) is an integrated energy and chemical

company. The Company uses Fischer-Tropsch technology to convert coal and natural gas into

synthetic fuels and chemicals. The Company mines coal in South Africa, produces gas in

Mozambique and oil in Gabon, and its chemical manufacturing and marketing operations span the

globe. In South Africa, Sasol refines imported crude oil and retail liquid fuel products through its

network of retail convenience centers. The Company also supplies fuels to other distributors in

the region and gas to industrial customers. It maintains chemical manufacturing and marketing

operations, mostly in South Africa, Europe and the United States, the Middle East and Asia. In

South Africa, the Company refines imported crude oil and retail liquid fuels through a network of

406 Sasol retail convenience centers and Exel service stations. Sasol operates through three

segments: South African energy cluster, international energy cluster and chemical cluster.



6. CNOOC Limited (CEO) is a producer of offshore crude oil and natural gas and an independent

oil and gas exploration and production company. It mainly engages in oil and natural gas

exploration, development, production and sales. The Company has four major oil production

areas offshore China: Bohai Bay, western South China Sea, eastern South China Sea and East

China Sea. It is an offshore oil producer in Indonesia. The Company also has certain upstream

assets in regions, such as Africa and Australia. As of December 31, 2007, the Company owned

net proved reserves of approximately 2.6 billion barrels-of-oil (BOE) equivalent and its average

daily net production was 469,407 barrels-of-oil equivalent.



7. BP p.l.c. (BP) is a holding company. With effect from January 1, 2008, the Company operates in

two business segments: Exploration and Production, and Refining and Marketing. A separate

business, Alternative Energy, handles the Company’s low-carbon businesses and options outside

oil and gas and is referred as Other Businesses and Corporate. Exploration and Production’s

activities include oil and natural gas exploration, development and production (upstream

activities), together with related pipeline, transportation and processing activities (midstream

activities and the natural gas liquids (NGLs), liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas, and power

marketing and trading businesses. The activities of Refining and Marketing include the oil supply

and trading, refining, marketing and transportation of crude oil, petroleum and chemical products.

In April 2008, BP registered in Russia its subsidiary BP Exploration Services.



8. Petro Canada (PCZ) Petro-Canada is an integrated oil and gas company with a portfolio of

businesses spanning both the upstream and downstream sectors of the industry. In the upstream

businesses, the Company explores for, develops, produces and markets crude oil, natural gas

liquids (NGL) and natural gas in Canada and internationally. The Downstream business unit

refines crude oil and other feedstock, and markets and distributes petroleum products and related

goods and services, primarily in Canada.



9. China Mobile Limited (CHL) China Mobile Limited is an investment holding company and a

mobile services provider in China. Its principal activity is providing mobile telecommunications and related services in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and directly administered municipalities

in Mainland China and Hong Kong. As of April 30, 2008, the total number of subscribers reached

399.5 million. The Company’s businesses can be primarily divided into voice business and value-

added business.



10. ConocoPhilips (COP) ConocoPhillips is an international, integrated energy company. It has six

operating segments. Exploration and Production segment explores for, produces and markets

crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. Midstream segment gathers, processes and markets

natural gas, and fractionates and markets natural gas liquids, primarily in the United States and

Trinidad. Refining and Marketing segment purchases, refines, markets and transports crude oil

and petroleum products. LUKOIL Investment segment consists of its equity investment in the

ordinary shares of OAO LUKOIL. The Chemicals segment manufactures and markets

petrochemicals and plastics on a worldwide basis. Emerging Businesses segment includes the

development of new technologies and businesses outside the Company’s normal scope of

operations. In October 2007, American Electric Power Company, Inc. sold its 50% interest in the

Sweeny Cogeneration plant in Texas to ConocoPhillips..
